Choir Practice at the German Embassy

Today I had my first choir practice at the German Embassy.

Vientiane International Embassy

I joined the Vientiane International Choir this week. We practice every Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the German Embassy. Our choir has members from Korea, Japan, France, Germany, the Philippines, Laos, and the United States.

We are practicing Christmas carols for our upcoming concert in December. We are singing “Silent Night,” “Ave Maria,” “Do You Hear What I Hear?,” “Laudate Omnes Gentes,” “Christmas Grace,” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” for our concert. We might even perform for the German embassy staff. We are not sure where we will sing for the Christmas concert since the only Catholic church in Vientiane is being renovated. We might sing at the mall (Parkson) for our concert.

We have a Gospel choir concert coming up soon. We still have to get music for that!

I am really excited to meet new people and sing with a nice group!
